Job Description
The Colorado Springs Gazette’s fall 2012 photo internship is a paid internship ($400.00/week) beginning in September and lasting approximately 14 weeks. Starting and ending dates will be flexible depending on the needs of the student. The internship is open to current students or recent graduates.
Photo intern applicants should possess a portfolio demonstrating technical proficiency and showing versatility, creativity and good use of light. Applicants must be able to work well under deadline pressure.

Application
Deadline for portfolios is June 10, 2012.
Photo intern applicants should have a basic camera kit including at least one camera body and a range of lenses from wide angle to short telephoto and an electronic flash. Photo interns are provided with two Nikon D2H cameras for use during the internship. Applicants must have their own reliable transportation.

Applicants should send a resume with references and a CD or DVD portfolio in slide show format for Mac (jpeg files of your images on a CD or DVD is also fine). We will pay return postage. Deadline for portfolios is June 10, 2012. Application materials should be sent to:

The job is part desk work (toning and placing photos into the paper) and part shooting. Most of the work is a 3-11 shift – Tuesday through Sunday, off Monday and Tuesday. The pay is $400.00 a week.
The job entails both shooting and video, so interns must supply their own equipment

AnnArbor.com is seeking two photographer/multimedia journalists for our fall internship. AnnArbor.com is a web-based publication, located in Ann Arbor, Mich., that also puts out two print editions every week. We are looking for a creative and motivated undergrad or recent graduate for a full-time, paid internship. Intern must provide camera equipment, but will have access to our pool of Nikon lenses. Assignments will range from prep sports and festivals to tailgating and University of Michigan football. We are looking for candidates that are eager to work in a fast-paced, lively and friendly newsroom.

Job Description
The Daily Inter Lake is looking for a summer photography intern. This paid position will begin in June and run through August. Timing is somewhat flexible.

The Daily Inter Lake is located in Kalispell and covers the entire Flathead Valley.

Interns cover a wide range of news, sports and feature assignments. From chasing wildfires, shooting baseball games and working on long-term projects for our Montana Life section, interns will get the total experience of being a full-time staff photographer for a daily newspaper.

Interns will be provided Nikon bodies and lenses.

The deadline to apply is April 28th.
