Bring your photos or video projects on a CD or thumb drive (Mac formatted please).

Also, please keep videos to 5 minutes or less, and slide shows to 20 images, so that everyone will have time to share their work.

The election is on for the Brooks NPPA Student Officer for the first term of 2008. If you have not received the link for the official ballot, send VJ faculty advisor Greg Cooper an e-mail. Remember, the election is open to any current Brooks student who is an active member of the NPPA national.

The closing reception of the Brooks NPPA Top 20 Week in Pictures 2006 is this coming Friday, Aug. 17 from 6p-8p at the Ventura Campus (5301 N. Ventura Ave., Ventura, CA). The reception is open to the public and free to attend. The print exhibit has been up in the Ventura campus for the past few weeks and will come down off the walls this Friday with the prints going to the winning bidders of the silent auction. Each image is being auctioned off to the highest bidder to raise funds for the Brooks NPPA - the largest and most active student chapter of the National Press Photographer's Association in the country.
